Bechics（ベシックス）は2016年8月13日、東京・中目黒にOPENしました。
Bechics（ベシックス）とはBasicとBe chicのアナグラムであり、
二つの言葉が持つ意味をコンセプトにした”大人のための上品で芯のあるスタイルをつくる場所”として名付けました。
「ベーシック」と「シック」を基準に選んだ商品は強く美しいという共通点を持ち、端正な佇まいの背景には
優れた「美意識・技術・品質・伝統・文化」そして、一点を追求した先に見える創造性が裏打ちされています。
また、シックには何にも形容することができない曖昧なニュアンスが含まれます。
それは空気であり、心意気であり、或いはあなたらしさでもあるとも考えます。
これまでのファッションは政治や経済などヒトと社会、自然などが創る世の中の気分を映す鏡でもある一方、
映画・音楽・アートなどと同じように、未来への希望を込めて生み出す夢のようなものでもありました。
また、それらの影響を受けたトレンドが次々と生まれてくる事もファッションの面白さとして欠かせませんが、
いまは一時的な高揚感だけでなく、自ら考え価値を選択する事がとても大切な時代だと感じます。
それは、ある日ふと気づく花の美しさやかけがえのない家族や友人と過ごす時間のように、
ファッションも温もりやつながりを感じられる事がより求められるようになったと言えるのではないでしょうか。
言い換えるなら「自分らしく生きること」がファッションにとって大きな意味を持つようになったいま、
Bechicsではあなただけにしかないたった一つのベーシック、そしてシックが存在すると考え、
一人一人のお客様らしさ、延いては姿形だけではなくヒトが持つ自然で美しい心をスタイリングしたいと考えています。
そして、「ファッションは楽しい。」
そんな当たり前のことをもう一度丁寧に、一から創っていくことを考え小さなお店を構えました。

Bechics opened its doors on August 13, 2016, in Nakameguro, Tokyo.
The name "Bechics" is an anagram of "Basic" and "Be Chic." It reflects our founding concept, which is to offer a space where mature individuals can cultivate elegant and grounded personal style.
Every item we curate is selected with "basic" and "chic" as our core values. These products are not only refined in appearance but also imbued with strength and timeless beauty. Behind their poised aesthetic lies a foundation of exceptional sensibility, craftsmanship, quality, tradition, and cultural heritage. Above all, each piece is the result of uncompromising creativity, born from a deep pursuit of singular ideas.
The word "chic" carries with it a certain ambiguity. It is difficult to define, yet it suggests atmosphere, attitude, and perhaps a reflection of your truest self.
Fashion has always mirrored the mood of the times, shaped by politics, economics, nature, and society. At the same time, like film, music, and art, it has served as a medium for expressing dreams and hopes for the future.
